The Water Teachers Initiative is a not-for-profit program of Freshwaters Illustrated. We support this work with grants and donations, so we work to assess our reach and impact, invite feedback, keep you updated with new content, and we might even send freshwater art to hang in your classroom!

Yes. We recognize many educators rely on virtual platforms and teaching sessions, and so we allow your private access to be shared with your students.

K-12 Water Teacher memberships renew annually, and we send email reminders to renew with simple instructions each year.

Our K-12 Water Teachers program is strictly for K-12 grade levels. College level educators can receive the same access with a Freshwaters Illustrated membership for $50/year.
